Fonola de materia gris (Parte 8)

Ciertas cosas que quiero que sepas: 1 – El disco “Isn’t Anyhting” de My Bloody Valentine tiene 12 canciones y yo puse una sola canción en las Fonolas, las otras 11 canciones me gustan tanto como esa que les mencione. Con el disco “Loveless” de la misma banda me pasa lo mismo: solo anote una canción pero las otras 10 canciones del disco son igualmente excelentes; con el disco “Steve McQueen” de Prefab Sprout me pasa que no me gusta la canción que lo inicia pero si las 10 restantes, de las cuales solo les hable de una. Conclusión: a las fonolas les faltan canciones pero no quiero ser demasiado reiterativo.

2 – En las fonolas están faltando varias canciones del Flaco Spinetta (por ejemplo) entre otros intérpretes ausentes. Todas esas canciones fueron mencionadas antes en SS.II. Conclusión: una vez más, estoy intentando evitar ser reiterativo.

3 – Las Fonolas están compuestas por canciones. Eso trae algunas desventajas. Ejemplo concreto: hay un disco de Faust llamado The Faust Tapes que es EXCELENTE pero que vino armado como un solo largo track de casi 44 minutos. Es obvio que no se le pueden mencionar canciones (aunque las tenga por momentos y las mismas sean gemas clásicas que tendrían que estar en las Fonolas). Otro ejemplo podría ser “Jesus Blood Never Failed Me Yet” de Gavin Bryars. Conclusión: hablar de grandes canciones puede ser una decisión que deja grandes discos fuera de mención.
